YoungArts 2021 National Winner
YoungArts released their 2021 National Winners and Isha Sidibay received an Honorable Mention for her art portfolio! Thousands of artists from across the country applied, so it is incredible that her work has been acknowledged on this stage. We are over the moon and SO proud of Isha, she has been an extraordinary student since arriving in JCARTS. Isha has a unique vision and determination and consistently goes above and beyond with her efforts. She is not only talented, but is a natural leader and mentor to her peers. We are lucky to have her light in our lives!
Information about the award:
The YoungArts Honorable Mention award level recognizes work that demonstrates exceptional technique; a strong sense of artistry; and a depth of thinking/performance that exceeds the level of peers at this career stage. Honorable Mention winners receive a monetary award of $250, gain access to opportunities to further develop her work, receive funding through microgrants, and apply for awards up to $25,000. Colleges seek out students with a YoungArts Winner designation. Isha will gain access to a lifetime of creative, professional development opportunities; and become part of an uplifting, intergenerational community that helps artists connect, create and collaborate.
